2022 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers
Evan Jones is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Audubon, PA who attends Methacton. Wirey, long, lean, Uber-projectable build with tons of room to fill throughout his frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, quick, athletic operation, coming from a deceptive lower slot. Uses long limbs to get down slope, cross firing slightly as he lands just to the third base side of the landing area. Worked in the low-80s with his fastball, grabbing an 85 during his outing. Tons of life through the zone that generated swing-and-misses. Tunnels all three-pitches from the same slot well. Slider displayed some sharpness to it as it had short, late break when he stayed on top of it. Killed spin effectively with his change-up that had some fading action through the zone. An intriguing arsenal that certainly projects. Lot of untapped velo that will be added as he continues to add strength. Very good student. Named to Northeast Top Prospect Game Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
