Salvatore Tantillo is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Matawan, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Recorded an 8.17 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher starts with a full windup and a long side step into a chest high leg lift, which shows good extension and explosion to the plate on release. Tantillo showcases good poise off the mound after allowing a leadoff triple in the game portion. He struck out the next three batters and works the zone with a good fastball up to 78 mph while also mixing in a slider that has sweeping action. Also taking ground balls in the infield executing good arm strength and a quick release throwing 80 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an even and balanced stance, high hands, and high back elbow as he flies open a bit with the hips. Tantillo displays decent barrel control as he works the ball middle to opposite field approach with developing bat speed. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
