Ashton Ybarra is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Primary outfielder with some length to the frame while showing an athletic build at present. Ran a 7.88 second sixty. Waits back on the ball in the outfield breaking down and chopping the footwork as he works to receive the ball out front and build momentum into the throws. Shows some arm strength with intent to the release topping out at 82 mph with accurate throws. Left-handed hitter starts with an upright stance and slightly open base. Creates separation with a longer stride and hand load as he transfers his weight into contact. Does a nice job with the hand path staying direct to the baseball with a linear attack plane to create line drive type contact working mostly to the pull side. Very good student.
