Luis Sanchez is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Haymarket, VA who attends Battlefield. Big strong frame with good musculature and deliberate, athletic overall presentation. Primary position IF, displaying good glove work with smooth accurate actions throughout the ball. Understands the angles and made the plays. Footwork was on point and will be even better as first step quickness improves. Full arm path delivering accurate feeds to bags with a peak velocity of 71 mph. RHH working from an even and narrow stance sitting well in his base. A bit stiff at times but when he cut the barrel loose there was significant loud contact. Gets on plane and launches the ball when he doesn't cut the swing off. Power oriented prospect that should be an impact bat as a corner infielder. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
