Brendan Beery is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-1 174 lb. frame from Coral Gables, FL who attends Gulliver Schools. Large frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.81 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, simple operation as he lifts to the belt and then works down the hill. Lands a bit open before releasing from a higher slot. Fastball was up to 71 mph. Breaking ball showing short vertical actions in the low-60's. Secondary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball keeping it in front of him. Two hand gather before working into exchange. Proper footwork showing while turning two and around the bag. Right-Handed Hitter, even base with bent knees. Higher hand set. Strides out while creating separation. Linear swing path. Proved to have some pop when he found the barrel. Great Student.
