2023 PG Softball Des Moines Iowa Scouting Combine
Offense- Right handed hitter who has really solid barrel whip and speed. She will really reveal her power potential once she gets her bottom half to match the speed of her top half. Right now she pulls, but as soon as she is connected she will be able to hit to more fields.
Defensive - The P/OF has a solid defensive foundation. She fields both positions well, showcasing range and the ability to track down balls.
Pitching- Right handed pitcher who throws a fast-ball, change-up, rise-ball, curve-ball, and screw-ball. Has a solid motion overall. Drives off the mound well and has good balance within her motion. Snap could be more violent to generate more speed. Change-up is a knuckle change. Does slow her motion a little early, but decent pitch. Her rise-ball motion has good resistance and posture. Spin direction looks decent, but needs to tighten up to get true break. Curve-ball was kept lower in the zone well. Decent break and location. Screw-ball break was minimal, but location was decent. Needs to continue to work on her tightness of her spins and they will be great.
