Hayden Burtch is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Thick build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.50 seconds. Primary first baseman, moved well laterally, displayed smooth hands, fielded the ball out in front. Showed the ability to make the routine plays, has a quick transfer and release making accurate throws across. From the mound, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, uses a side step delivery. The fastball sat 71-75 mph, worked in a curveball that sat 66 mph. At the plate, hits from a narrow even stance with a toe tap stride, switching back and forth between a leg kick and a toe tap. Has a middle approach, consistently hit the ball up the middle. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
