2022 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 19)
Hudson Smith is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, OF with a 5-1 97 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Ran a 8.58 second sixty. Primary short stop with a smaller frame and young build. Showed some firm hands fielding the ball out front on the infield with a clean break down at the baseball with developing arm strength across the diamond that will improve with maturity and added strength. Right-handed hitter, does a nice job saying short to contact with the bat path. Hit the baseball to all fields with a mostly linear bat path showing young bat speed and strength at the point of contact.
