Vicente Martinez is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Granada Hills, CA. Lean athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.83 seconds. Primary middle infielder, showed off his athleticism, moved well laterally to both sides of the ball, has a quick first step with a quick transition and smooth glove work. Has a tendency to move too fast, needs to work on slowing himself down just a little. Was clocked up to 67 mph on throws across the diamond. From the mound, throws from the stretch only has a long arm action with slight drop and drive mechanics. Threw strikes, the fastball sat 69-72 mph with arm side run, the ball comes out of his hand quick. At the plate, hits from a square balanced stance with a simple leg lift trigger, transfers his weight well, displayed a flat path with pull side pop. Good student.
