Eli Daniel is a 2027 3B/UT with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Caldwell, ID who attends Vallivue. He's got a bigger build overall, especially in the lower half. Ran an 8.27 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman was able to make firm throws across the infield during his infield round, getting to the ball, and making a play on it with some strength behind the throws. Right-handed hitter. He's got a hover leg lift and then uses a toe-tap to get on time with the ball. He stays short to the ball and is direct to it, working with the hands already set high, allowing him to get the barrel to the ball and lift it. The swing used his larger build in the box to get some strength behind it. Also made an appearance on the mound, showing a longer arm action from a high three-quarters arm slot. His fastball was IP to 77 mph and holding in the low- to mid-70s. He showed a feel for a breaking ball, but mostly used the fastball, getting good plane on the pitch. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
