Erik Jeong is a 2023 SS/ with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Temecula Valley. Athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.96 seconds. Primary infielder, showed off his athleticism, moved well laterally to both sides of the ball. Has solid footwork, still working on the glove actions, displayed accurate throws. From the mound, throws from a low three-quarter arm slot with good amr speed. Throws out of the stretch from a quick slide step. Works quickly, the fastball sat 73-78 mph with slight arm side run. Worked best on the inner half to right handed hitters. Mixed in a slider that sat 64-70 mph with slight tilt. Right-handed hitter, hits from a wide base, has a short compact swing with good bat speed. Displayed good barrel control, uses max effort throughout his swing, hit the ball well to all fields. Excellent student.
