2022 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Bryce Hanna is a 2026 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Lone Tree, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Features a lean build with some strength present. Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showed athleticism on the dirt. Caught the routine ball well. Flashed solid footwork to and through the catchpoint. Moves well laterally, showing good range both ways. Was accurate with most throws across the diamond. Threw 70 mph during workouts. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a simple timing mechanism. Showcased a short swing on a slight uppercut path. Stays balanced and under control well. More power should come as the frame continues to add strength. Right-handed pitcher. Threw exclusively out of the stretch. Gets down the mound quickly using slight drop and drive mechanics. Hides the ball well during short arm action out of a 3/4 slot. Slight crossfire landing adds some deception. The fastball sat 70-72 mph with slight cut action at times. The offering can generate some whiffs at the top of the zone. Pared it with a curveball at 59-61 mph showing 12-6 action. Creates a fair amount of bite on the offering when thrown with conviction. Can land it for strikes regularly. Also flashed a changeup at 64-65 mph with fading action. Quality arm speed deception allows the offering to generate occasional whiffs. Intriguing overall profile that should only continue to get better.
