Julian Javier Cancel Ríos is a 2023 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Bayamón, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.32 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with plenty of time and room to add strength. Primary second baseman with deliberate actions and a long, offline arm action. Good feel to move to his back hand with snatchy hands. Good angles and direction with accuracy from the lower slot. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Quick hands with an even start. Small stride inward with fast wrists. Turns the barrel over okay with looseness and projects for power with additional strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
