2023 Midwest Top Prospect Games
Brady Booth is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Tremont, IL who attends Tremont. A medium frame and athletic build. Room to continue filling out moving forward. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder. He looked the part with clean footwork working through his round of throws. He showed a good feel for the backhand and had some snatchy hands overall. He changed slots throughout the round and threw 85 mph across the diamond. Settled into the round nicely and was very fundamental overall. A right-handed hitter with an even base, higher-set hands, and a high-back elbow. Squared stance. He loads deep and separates well through the swing. He drove the ball all over the field during his round of BP swings. Showed good hand speed with a compact stroke. Had some carry on balls well-struck pull-side in the air. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a chest-high leg kick. He threw from a lower three-quarters arm slot with a longer arm stroke down the mound. Created tons of whip. Worked up to 83 mph on the fastball with some cut, mixing in a mid-70s slider as well. The slider had a tighter break with the ability to induce whiffs out of the zone. Showed a changeup in the mix as well. He filled up the bottom half of the zone and was not afraid to challenge opposing hitters, especially on the inner half. Athletic mover down the mound and pitched with confidence overall. Threw 2.0 innings of scoreless ball with 3 punchouts. Great student. Named to the 2023 Midwest Top Prospect Games TP List.
