Joshua Hardin is a 2026 C/RHP/SS with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Concord, NC who attends Central Cabarrus. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 8.43 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, still learning to sequence his action with his lower hal and upper half, developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield. Right handed hitter, , hits from an open stance and tends to stay open, showed some hand quickness while getting the barrel out, mid field to pull side contact, some young bat speed with more to come. Also pitched, has a simple turn and throw delivery with a long arm takeaway in back and a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to land hard on his front side and fall off on release. Fastball topped out at 68 mph.
