Erica Houge is a 2024 RHP/UT from Collins, IA who attends Collins Maxwell. Erica is a great two way athlete who adds a lot of value to any line up. On the mound, Erica throw four main pitches very efficiently: fastball, curveball, changeup and riseball. Maintains good bal snap and solid long and loose motion on all pitches. Change up is a great pitch, that has a little bit of a curve break to it. Utilized as an off speed it will keep a lot of hitters off balance. In addition her curve and riseball has tight spin and good late break which make her very hard to hit. She is overall a solid standout pitcher with high ceiling. Offensively, she is a right handed stand in hitter with a mechanically solid swing. Generates really good barrel whip and exceptional hand path to the ball. Overall Erica is an athlete that has all the tools to play at the next level. Very excited where the game takes her, and to watch her excel at the collegiate level.
