Yanuel Casiano is a 2024 C/1B/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Sabana Grande, PR who attends Albergue Olímpico Baseball Academy. Features a physical build with strength present throughout. Ran a 7.15 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, showed a compact and efficient exchange that got him to work quick to release. Exhibited some lower half athleticism out the crouch where he gained significant ground quickly on throwdowns. Arm has quality strength maxing out at 81 mph. At the plate, he uses a leg lift trigger where he rocks back and engages with his backside. As he moves forward he walks away from hands that then get into a good launch position. Strong hands turn the barrel on a slight uphill path with some present bat speed. Made consistent out front contact throughout his BP round where he showed flashes of pullside power. Currently uncommmitted.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
