Jatnier Torres is a 2023 3B/SS/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Santa Isabel, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Ran a 7.01 section sixty. Primary third baseman with a longer lean build. Gets to the spot fine on the infield bending at the waist to receive the ball with soft hands out front. Gets the ball across the diamond with accuracy and average carry from a medium arm action. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and slightly open stance, Does a nice job generating the power from the ground up with good extension out from on the swing plane. Creates back spin on the ball flight with more power to tap into doing forward with added strength and maturity. Excellent student.
