Bryce Newton is a 2028 SS/C/OF with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Independence, MO. Recorded a 7.56 sixty yard dash at the event. Long limbed athlete for age, with plenty physical development left to be had. Primary infielder. Fields from a wider base. Some infield actions currently, with solid arm talent for age at 71 mph across. Stiff glove with accuracy across infield. Secondary outfielder. Moves well in the outfield, showing some lateral agility. Stiff hands from the outfield as well, booting a couple balls. Arm strength is there for his age, topping at 70 mph from OF. Secondary right-handed pitcher. Fluid compact mechanics on the mound. Funky, lower three-quarters arm slot that creates some cut on his fastball. Inconsistent foot strike down the mound. Relied on only fastballs. Right-handed hitter. Leg lift trigger, with high hands and a high back elbow. Keeps his hands inside the ball and drags the bat through the zone occasionally. Lots of rollover, ground ball contact. Rotational upperbody during swing. Would benefit from more use of the lower half.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
