Kade Hilander is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Paris, KY who attends Bourbon County. Features a lean build with room to add more. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Displayed loud footwork during infield workouts. Caught the ball cleanly on a consistent basis. Showed a quick release into short arm action throws. Was around the target on most throws. More arm strength should come as the frame continues to fill out. Threw 71 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with an open base. Transfers weight using a hang leg lift load. Approach is geared toward the pullside. Will catch the ball out front and drive it hard that way. Still developing a consistent bat path which will help boost the barrel accuracy. Also threw on the mound. Righthanded pitcher. Utilizes a high belt leg lift into a medium stride down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with limited extension out front. The fastball sat in the upper-70’s on a level plane, topping out at 80 mph. Has the ability to throw it for strikes consistently. Located the offering on the corners well. Paired the fastball with a mid-60’s curveball with flashes of late, 12-6 action. Has some pitchability present. Continuing to develop the offspeed stuff will be a key going forward. Good student.
