Joseph Grullon is a 2023 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac. Medium, compact frame with a slender build and plenty of room to to physically mature. Recorded a 7.53 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with deliberate actions throughout the fielding process. Exhibits a clean funnel out in front with slight waist bend, some adjustability with his hands and recorded developing arm strength up to 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with big rocker step into a high leg lift and a slightly cross-body landing. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 76 mph from a three-quarters slot in this look. Pitches to contact effectively and maintained velocity throughout, mixed in 11-5 shaped curveball with developing spin profile and command. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and mechanical refinements. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and small hover trigger. Incorporates rotational swing mechanics with elongated swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Hands driven swing with occasional impact to the pullside, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
