2022 Northern California Prospect Showcase
Jonathan Wright is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Santa Teresa. Solid frame with power projection at the dish where he sets up with slightly open pigeon toed stance. The coiling load he employs gains quality separation. Squared up a bunch of lofted barrels deep to the pull side. At first base, the size is promising with proper fielding position and some arm strength from a pull down style release. On the mound, the durable right hander showed short quick arm action and release that pops out of the three-quarters slot. Fastball shows late sink and with added velocity could be quite the asset on the mound. 7.79 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
