2022 13U/14U Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase
Jailyn Moore is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Winston Salem, NC who attends West Forsyth. Long and lean athletic build, looks bigger than listed. Primary shortstop but grades out better and projects better as a pitcher. Had a very loose and easy arm action on the mound from an extended mid 3/4's arm slot, slot will wander up and down at times but stuff remained consistent. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with both run and cut at different times. Created outstanding spin on a mid-60's breaking ball along with some bite and depth, chance to have a special breaking ball as he gets stronger. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Throws from the same lower arm slot in the infield and outfield, moves well and athletically. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a leg raise trigger than can be late at times, showed some raw bat speed and ability to get some jump when he's on time, easy to make adjustments with the bat. Will be fun to watch develop on the mound. Named to the 13U/14U Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
