2022 West Academic Showcase (Wed-Thurs)
Anson Liptak is a 2026 3B/1B, 2B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista. Medium build with present strength and size to both halves. Ran a 8.08 in the 6-yard dash. Infielder, fields it well on the backhand with promising glovework for the age. Has an accurate arm across the diamond and stays in control. First baseman, fundamental in approach with quicker plays on a turn. Shows good arm strength to both bags and can move well to his left. Right-handed hitter, higher hand set and leg kick trigger in load. Developing bat speed with a high finish. hard liners to all fields showed in round. Has promising strength and feel for the barrel as the frame matures. Very good student.
