Ryan Strouse is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Greenwood Village, CO who attends Cherry Creek. Features a tall, lanky build with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws form a high 3/4 slot using a longer arm action. Fastball sat 70-75 mph on a slight downhill plane. Can get whiffs at the top of the zone occasionally. Paired it with a mid-60’s slider showing sweeping action. Flashed the ability to create bite on the offering. Also showed a low-60’s knuckleball. Worked out on the infield and at first base. Makes the routine play. Still developing confident actions throughout. Range profiles well for a corner spot. Threw 74 mph across the diamond with more coming down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a wider base. Shows a subtle toe tap timing mechanism. Swings on a lofted path with an approach geared toward the pullside. Leans back hard on the backside, looking to drive balls in the air. More power will come with added strength and body control. Ran an 8.22 60-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
