Kaleb Deines is a 2026 OF/MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Le Claire, IA who attends Pleasant Valley. Recorded a 5.15 second 40-yard dash time. Medium frame and lean build. Primary outfielder with a patient approach to the ball, utilizes a compact arm circle. Gets the ball out quick and shows present hand speed. Ball has good carry out of the hand and he made accurate throws to the target. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and slightly open, bent knee stance, utilizes a small toe tap trigger as his timing mechanism. Even hand set with developing bat speed, ball shows the most jump off the bat when he gets the barrel out front. Does a fine job of transferring his weight through the swing, will tend to cut off the swing at times rather than get extended out front. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
