Jack Cowan is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Bowling Green, KY who attends Greenwood. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.42 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, side step to lift before striding out. Longer arm stroke releasing from a low three-quarter slot. Crossfire delivery and creates natural deception because of it. Fastball showing good arm side run up to 83 mph. Spin rates peaking at 2248 rpm. Breaking ball showing bite with 1-to-7 shape in the low-70's. Changeup in low-70's a work in progress but proved he could land for strikes, giving him a legit three pitch upside. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back a bit before working into route. Proper footwork present. Scoops it up out front then works into release. Carries momentum into release. Throws up to 82 mph. Left-Handed Hitter, weight on backside to start. Short load to a minimal stride. Relies on hands to generate bat speed. Middle-away type approach with a linear cut. Great Student. Named to Indianapolis Indoor Top Prospect List.
