William Hurt is a 2025 SS/C with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends St. Christopher's. Nice young athletic build with plenty of physical projection ahead. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a tight hand load, hanging from leg trigger with some drift, can get the foot down late at times, has strong hands and creates some bat speed and impact, line drive swing plane, projects as a hitter as he refines his timing and load. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, attacks the ball well and has quick and active feet, has some hand quickness and adjusts well to hops, good arm strength with on line carry, has the physical attributes of a middle infielder. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a faster pace and is aggressive down the mound. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets nice sweeping action on his slider and got some swing/miss on his curveball, also threw a firm change up with some fade. Nice all around athlete who will keep improving in all areas as he fills out his frame. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
