Owen Brown is a 2027 C/3B, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Hastings, NE who attends Adams Central Jr-Sr. He has a good frame for his age with an athletic frame and room to fill as he continues to develop physically. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.94 seconds. Primary catcher that starts in a slightly open stance and has a slightly uphill motion. He has clean chest high transfers and showed quick footwork while recording a pop time of 2.13 seconds to second.. Secondary third baseman that has good footwork and works into the proper fielding position. He did a nice job of staying connected and working through the ball with both his lower and upper half. He showed good arm strength for his age. Right-handed hitter that starts with a medium base and an upright stance. He has a small load that leads into a leg lift trigger that he uses for timing. He has a slightly uphill bat path and showed good feel for the barrel that allowed him to leverage the ball into the gap. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Midwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
