Nathaneal (Nate) Martin is a 2027 C/RHP/IF/OF with a 5-0 125 lb. frame from Henderson, NC who attends Vance Charter. Smaller young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Left handed hitter, drifts into contact with a big stride, long and full swing, front side is early leading to pull side contact, has some uphill plane to his swing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 9.05 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher who plays all over the field on defense, still learning to work through the ball on his throws with his lower half and use his footwork to throw, makes accurate soft throws. Also pitched, lands way open with his front side, worked up to 60 mph to go with a soft curveball. Good student.
