Ryan Clayton is a 2025 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney Boyd. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.03 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, cleaner actions and works at the ball with some ease, fields it well and longer into release, up to 82 to bags and will produce more carry long-term. Simple actions on the dirt with good footwork, clean to the glove side and arm played well across. Also pitches, quicker pace to the process, full arm stroke to high over the top slot, works straight downhill into the low-80s and spins a true downer breaking ball from the same release. Right-handed hitter, even base and holds his weight well, has some strength and hand speed, creates some lift to the middle when he's timed up, good foundation of traits. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
