Dane Browne is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Weatherford, TX who attends Aledo. Posted an 8.24 in the 60. Primary SS is a young build with a good athleticism present. Has good looseness and awareness playing up the middle. Sound fundamental actions worked through plays clean with true infield actions. On the mound the right-hander peaked his fastball at 68 mixing a developing breaking ball with good shape that landed at 56. Simple operation with fluid actions down the hill showed a good idea and effectiveness that should advance as he continues to build. Right-handed hitter has a smooth process and stayed consistent with his barrel control. More impact to see down the road as his hit tool strengthen.
