Bryce Woodard is a 2023 RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Lavista, NE who attends Bellevue West. Strong and thick athletic build. Has a compact arm action from a 3/4's slot on the mound, works downhill well with good direction to the plate. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Threw a big 11/5 curveball as his primary secondary pitch, also mixed in a change up with some fading action. 8.16 runner in the sixty. Played the outfield when not on the mound and had good fundamental footwork through the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright straight stance with a simple timer and stride, hits to all fields with a line drive swing plane, gets out to his front side early. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
