Eddie Hourigan, Jr is a 2028 RHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 134 lb. frame from Panama City Beach, FL who attends Surfside Middle School. Young, athletic build with good physical projection. Ran a 7.64 sixty yard dash. Right handed pitcher, fast leg kick up to the chest with cross fire action at foot strike. Clean and quick arm stroke to a 3/4 release. Worked consistently in the low 70's with the fastball and commanded it well to the glove side. Curveball tunneled with promising shape that can develop. Minimal use of lower half, will continue to improve with more implementation. Also showed a strong arm during outfield and first base drills. Good accuracy to the bag and sound footwork from both spots on the field. Comfortable mover in the field. Right handed hitter, slight open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow, downhill path with developing bat speed, worked the barrel to all fields. Flashed potential all across the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
