2023 Northern California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Ricky Wilkerson III is a 2024 3B/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. medium/large sized, muscular athletic frame from Gilroy, CA who attends Christopher High School. At the plate he sets up in a traditional, balanced athletic stance. Definitely has a presence in the box and looks hitterish. Showed intent and tremendous hand/bat speed in his BP round with a high finish. Squared the ball up consistently employing a pull approach. There is over the fence power potential in the bat. Wilkerson profiles best at third base. Had one of the better defensive rounds of the day. Showed crisp clean actions using the proper foot/glove mechanics and attacked the ball with intent. Demonstrated he can make all the plays required. Showed off his strong arm and the ability to throw on the run accurately. Clocked a 7.25 60-yard dash. Excellent student. High follow.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
