Broderyk Miller is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Newport, NC who attends Croatan. Taller, lean build with room to continue to add strength. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary left-handed pitcher, side steps to a higher leg lift to balance in the windup. Full arm circle in the back toa three-quarter release. Drops and drives directly to the dish, working into the legs well, offering up a solid two pitch mix. Changes arm slot on the fastball to create some arm-side life, up to 81 mph (1892 RPM). Also threw a changeup with occasional arm-side break (1474 RPM). Secondary first baseman, solid actions bouncing off the bag, has good bend in the lower half, works through grounders, fundamentally sound turns, accurate throws to the bags up to 73 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, under control on the charge, fields the ball with one hand on the side, works through the ball, carrying momentum through throws. Throws have carry from the low three-quarters release. Athletic actions shown in both workouts. Left-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance, uses a knee lift trigger stride to get the front side closed, has a linear bat path through the zone. Got the barrel extended often and sprayed the ball to all fields. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
