David Hill is a 2027 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-0 240 lb. frame from Flossmoor, IL. He has a tall frame frame for his age and a thick, physical build with present strength. Ran the forty-yard dash in 5.68 seconds. Primary first baseman that does a nice job of getting around the ball and working into a good fielding position. He has a good feel for the glove and transfers the ball quickly into his throwing hand. He made accurate throws and showed good footwork around the base and on his double play turns. Secondary left-handed pitcher that works exclusively out of the stretch. He starts from the third base side of the rubber and uses a knee to belt leg kick. He does a nice job of working in line with the plate. He throws with a longer arm action that is in line and fires from a high 3/4 arm slot. He finishes over his front foot well. His fastball is straight and he worked it to all quadrants of the zone. His curveball has nice downer action to pair with the fastball. Left-handed hitter that starts with an even base that is slightly open. He has a relaxed stance and uses a toe tap trigger for timing. He has a rotational swing and very fast hands through the zone that leads to plenty of bat speed. He showed plenty of pull side power when he was on time and made contact out in front of the plate. Named to the 2023 Eastern Iowa Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
