Ryder Fernandez is a 2025 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Saint John, IN who attends Lake Central. Lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. A third baseman with fundamental footwork breaking down the baseball, some lateral quickness to both sides, decent job of working his hands though the ball, quick release on throws across the infield. Hit from a slightly open and upright stance, has rotational strength, shows some bat speed and an all fields approach at the plate. On the mound showed a mid 70's fastball and a curve with consistent 11-5 shape to it. Stuff comes out of a short arm action high three-quarter slot with solid use of the legs driving downhill. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
