Matt Rackley is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Wantagh, NY who attends Wantagh Senior. Primary catcher, starts in a side saddled stance, gains ground well during the inline transfer, kept the throws low and around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 71 mph and a pop time of 2.04. From the outfield, worked through the baseball at a deliberate pace, created useful momentum throughout the gather, the throws had some carry to them, recorded arm strength up to 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an open stance with a high hand set, utilizes a leg lift trigger, flatter bat path, produced liners to the middle of the field when timed up, showcased the ability to work the entire field, recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. Ran a 7.14 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
