Alfonso Prieto is a 2023 OF/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Port Charlotte, FL who attends Port Charlotte HS. Recorded a 7.27 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some wiry strength present and room for more. Primary outfielder with a solid glove hand and short footwork. Quick approach and attacks the ball. Fields off to the side with one hand with on target throws and a quick arm that produced throws up to 74 mph into the infield. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Upper half dominant swing with a line drive oriented swing. Compact stroke and uses a small step forward as a timing mechanism through the load. Good student. Verbal commitment to LSU-Eunice.
