Vincent Cantu is a 2026 3B/RHP, 2B, SS with a 5-4 145 lb. frame from Ontario, CA who attends Alta Loma. Features a compact build. Ran an 8.46 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showed ability to make the routine play. Range profiles well for a corner spot. Still developing fluidity within the fielding action. Arm strength should come with natural development. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a narrow base. Swings on a direct path to contact. Approach stays middle to opposite field. Still developing feet for the barrel. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Uses a short stride with a slight crossfire landing. Throws out of a high 3/4 slot with a short arm action. Repeats low effort operation well. The fastball sat 61-65 mph with slight sinking action. Offering worked well at the bottom of the zone. Paired it with a curveball at 57-58 mph showing downward action. Can land the offering for strikes. Still developing consistency with the offering.
