Nicolas Bustamante is a 2024 SS/IF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from San Angelo, TX who attends San Angelo Lake View. Ran a 7.52 second sixty. Primary short stop with a slender build showing room to fill out moving forward. Waits back on the ball on the infield playing it with the hands out front. away from the body and gathering into a tall er throwing position with a average arm strength across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, showed good feel for the barrel with a bat path that matches plane through the hitting zone well. Did a nice job of using the middle to opposite field with contact on the inside part of the ball. Very good student.
