CJ Gilpin is a 2027 3B/RHP, 1B, IF, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Loveland, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Medium size frame. Ran an 8.49 60-yard dash. Versatile defender with sound fundamental footwork in the infield and outfield, works through the baseball, shows average glove actions receiving the baseball and developing arm strength. Hit from a slightly open stance with leg lift timing, slight uphill bat path, some length to the swing with present strength and developing bat speed. Showed a fastball and breaking ball out of a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball topped at 70 and showed a beginning stages breaking ball, threw both pitches competitively for strikes and got quick outs on the mound.
