Joey Kellmer is a 2023 2B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Bonita, CA who attends Otay Ranch. Feature a slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and on the infield. Charges the ball in the outfield. Catches it cleanly, working through the catchpoint well. Flashed solid carry on accurate throws. Threw 80 mph during workouts. Showcased sound actions on infield. Soft hands caught the ball well. Has solid range in both directions. Quality footwork creates momentum into throws. Arm strength should only continue to get stronger as the frame fills out. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a minor toe tap timing mechanism. Flashes some bat speed on short path to contact. Approach allows for the entire field to be used. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy. Very good student.
