Blake Moore is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-4 165 lb. frame from California City, CA who attends California City. Extra long and tall build with tons of room to fill in and get stronger. Primary left handed pitcher, has a compact arm action with a cross body delivery on landing and a low 3/4's arm slot, lots of deception and angle to his pitches, has some energy and pace to his delivery and at release. Fastball worked in the mid-70's with occasional cutting action, works the bottom of the zone well, should be able to develop more movement as he gets more repetitions. Threw a soft slurve type breaking ball as his second pitch, tends to slow on arm and body on the pitch but has a feel for landing it for strikes. Velocity and endurance will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.78 runner who plays first base when not on the mound. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a high hand start and a toe tap load, downhill swing plane with developing bat speed, tends to get off balance through his swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
