Ryan Tierney is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Bethel Park, PA who attends Bethel Park. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with an exaggerated high back elbow load, wrapped hands and a quick leg lift trigger, can be late getting his foot down and his elbow into slot, downhill swing plane, best contact to the middle of the field. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball well, fields off to the side, big crow hop footwork into his throws and carries his momentum into release well, throws from and lower 3/4's arm slot and makes accurate soft throws. Also played infield in drills, has good hands at the ball with a long arm action on his throws and young footwork. Very good student.
