Maverick Bolen is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Horizon. Features a tall, slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Showcased sound fundamentals in the outfield. Creates solid carry using a short arm action release. Athleticism plays well on the infield. Can move well laterally with a quick transfer into strong throws across. Reached 77 mph during workouts. Displayed a balanced setup behind the plate. Still developing consistent actions out of crouch. Recorded a 2.21 pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance into a big leg lift timing mechanism. Swing on a direct path to contact. Shows solid bat speed present. Approach works through the middle of the field consistently. Power will continue to develop. Right-handed pitcher. Uses slight drop and drive mechanics into a short stride down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with an abbreviated arm path. Fastball sat 74-78 mph with some ride. Short arm action allows the offering to get on hitters quickly. Pairs it with a curveball at 59-62 mph with 12-6 action. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Good student.
