Grant Hummel is a 2027 RHP/3B, MIF, OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Washington, MO who attends Washington. He has a tall frame with a lean build and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.50 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He starts from the middle of the rubber and uses a slower, knee to chest leg kick. He does a nice job of working in line with the plate and pushes down the mound well. He utilizes a long, circular arm action and fires from an over the top arm slot. His fastball features slight cutting action through the zone that makes it tough on opposing hitters to square up the offering. He also features a slower, 12-6 curveball that showed tons of vertical depth. He wore out the outside part of the plate, pitching away from hitters throughout his outing. Secondary infielder that has quick feet when working to both sides of his body. He does a nice job of staying low throughout the fielding and throwing process. He was able to make accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base that is slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow. He sinks into his back hip on his load and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He has a short and compact path to the ball and pairs this with a line drive approach. He allows the ball to get deep into the hitting zone and is not afraid to utilize the opposite field gap.
