Will Nesler is a 2027 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny Centennial. Recorded a 7.50 second sixty yard dash time. Primary middle infielder with active feet and good intent/urgency to the actions, makes the plays cleanly and gets the ball out quick. Has great feel for the position, will really improve as he grows/gets stronger. Also worked out in the outfield showing much of the same, has an aggressive approach to the ball, fields off the front foot and plays through it well. Made low and accurate throws to the bag. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a big leg kick above the belt, utilizes a short and compact arm action with a tight release. Comes from a high three-quarters slot, has good feel on the mound and mixes speeds and locations well. Flashed an 11-5 shaped curveball along with his fastball. Right-handed hitter with a low hand and back elbow set and a big toe tap trigger. Displays a short and direct hand path and contact-oriented swing/approach overall. Produced consistent contact, has limited impact right now but will continue to improve as he gets more physical.
