Mitchell Renfro is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Evansville, IN who attends Evansville North. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.12 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works from stretch, short step into load, medium length through back to 3/4 arm slot, good arm speed and extension, fastball worked 80-84 mph with some cut, showed sharp slider with tight spin, good projection on the mound. Hits from slightly open stance, brings lower half into swing well, flat path with bat speed and plate coverage, looseness to wrists, projects at the plate. Showed off the arm strength in the outfield, moved well and clocked up to 85 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2022 Indianapolis Indoor Top Prospect List.
